State Street Shopping Center is the first new shopping center to be constructed in East St. Louis, Illinois in over 50 years. The shopping center was recognized by the Southwestern Illinois Development Authority as one of the Outstanding Developments of the Year in 1999 and was visited by President Bill Clinton the same year. This multi-phase project now represents an investment in the community and has grown to incorporate 120,000 square-feet.
Phases I, II and III are 100% leased. Tenants include Ashley Stewart, Simply Fashions, JWG Beauty, State Farm Insurance, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Save-A-Lot grocery store, Imo’s Pizza, Check N’ Go, Rainbow and Foot Locker.
Phase IV and V tenants include Street Legends, EB Games, St. Louis Fish, US Nails, Pener Menswear, H&R Block, Radio Shack, a 24-hour McDonalds, Walgreens and others that have yet to be announced.
